How do I publish to the METNET Connect server?

After you download and install Adobe Presenter, you must add the Connect Server to the list of available Breeze servers for publishing.  This addition must be made to the preferences in the Adobe menu in PowerPoint. This change is necessary since Adobe Presenter does not come configured with the Connect server as an option for publishing.

To add the METNET Connect Server to the list of available Connect servers:

1. Download and install Adobe Presenter. Please see Get Connect for additional information.
2. Start PowerPoint.
3. From the Presenter menu in PowerPoint, select Preferences.
4. Click on the Server tab in the Adobe Presenter Preferences window.
5. Click the Add... button.
6. In the Add Server window, enter the following:
   1. Name:  METNET Connect Server
   2. URL: https://umconnect.umn.edu/
7. Click OK.
8. Click Close.

To publish your presentations to the Connect Server after you have added the Connect Server to the list of available servers:

1. From the Presenter menu in PowerPoint, select Publish.
2. In the Publish window, click on the option for Connect Server.
3. Confirm that the Connect server is set to the METNET Connect Server. If it is set to another server, click on Change Server... and select METNET Connect Server from the list.
4. Click on Publish and continue the publishing process.
